Over 1 million individual files containing tens of millions of individual documents are stored at this location. Paper case files are stored as long as the case is open, or the statutory date of file destruction, whichever comes later.

Pursuant to Oklahoma State Statutes, the Court Clerk, as an elected official, is charged with maintaining the records of all Tulsa County District Court cases. These cases are filed in their respective departments in the main offices of the Court Clerk on the second floor of the Tulsa County Courthouse.
